You and Your General Practice (YYGP)

“You and Your General Practice” (YYGP) has been developed to help patients understand what to expect from their GP practice and how to get the most from your care. It also explains how you can provide feedback or raise concerns with your practice, Healthwatch, or the local Integrated Care Board (ICB).

What to know about online requests:

  • The national guidance says we will acknowledge online queries within one working day. This is usually an automated confirmation that we have received your request, not a clinical response.
  • At Parkbury House, we understand the need to respond quickly, and this is our ultimate aim. However, due to the volume of queries it may take longer, but we strive to respond as soon as possible.
  • Your health is important to us, and ensuring you receive timely care is a priority.
  • If you need urgent advice or a faster response, please contact us by phone rather than submitting an online query.
